In 1993, DEMCO acquired controlling interest in a British corporation called Library Furnishing Consultants, Ltd. (LFC). LFC became a wholly owned independent subsidiary of DEMCO Worldwide in 2000. It has grown from a library design and installation company into the second largest direct marketer of library supplies and furnishings to school libraries in the United Kingdom.
